We are partnering with several churches in the Orlando area to form teams to visit widows, deliver a home cooked meal, groceries, a “widow’s care kit” including some special gifts and a devotional, pray with them and provide helping hands to work on their homes, yards and cars. Widows Statistics:

There are 12 million widows in the United States.
•
Half of all women over the age of 65 will become widows.
•
The average age of a widow is between 53 and 55 years old.
•
Half of the women that are 65 or older live on $550 a month or less. That’s $550 per month or less for their house, their heating, their utilities, their food, their medications, etc.
